History
Neurokin S.A. was founded in July 2003 by a complementary team including two neuroscientists and one neurologist. The company was created to valorize fundamental research results obtained at INSERM U29 on cerebral ischemia and in CNRS (Roscoff) on Cyclin Dependent Kinase inhibitors. In 2006, Neurokin obtained the first proof of concept of the neuroprotective potential of its molecules in vivo. Seed capital from INSERM Transfert and CEA raised in 2007 allowed Neurokin to strengthen the proof of concept in different animal models of neuroprotection as well as its IP position.
