In Florida, medication management is handled by your local primary care provider or psychiatrist using our detailed, prescriber-ready care plan as the clinical roadmap.
Is the evaluation different from what you offer in NJ or NY?
No. The evaluation process, clinical depth, diagnostic tools, time commitment (~5 clinical hours), and total cost ($2,500) are identical to our New Jersey and New York services. The only difference is the post-evaluation prescribing pathway.
How does coordination with my local prescriber work?
At Visit 3, you receive an integrated, prescriber-ready care plan complete with ICD-10 diagnostic codes, medication class recommendations, dosing considerations, monitoring guidelines, and sensory/executive function strategies. You bring this document to your local PCP or psychiatrist. If your provider has questions, our office can consult with them directly to support a smooth handoff.
What if I don't have a local prescriber yet?
You can complete your evaluation and receive your care plan before establishing care with a local provider. Our office can guide you on what features to look for when selecting a Florida PCP, psychiatrist, or psychiatric nurse practitioner comfortable managing ADHD medications from a structured clinical care plan.
Is the price the same as what you charge in NJ or NY?
Yes. The price is $2,500 across all licensed states, paid as $900 at Visit 1, $800 at Visit 2, and $800 at Visit 3. All standardized rating scales, Creyos cognitive testing, and objective testing tools used during evaluation are included without separate testing fees.
How long does AuDHD evaluation take?
The evaluation spans three visits over three to four weeks, totaling approximately five hours of clinical time. Visit 1 is an extended initial consultation (~120 min), Visit 2 is diagnostic and neurocognitive testing (~120 min), and Visit 3 is the integrated diagnostic review and care plan delivery (~60 min).
What's included in the integrated care plan?
Your care plan contains diagnostic formulations for both autism and ADHD, analysis of your specific AuDHD interaction dynamics (sensory profiles, routine vs. novelty needs, masking patterns), medication recommendations, monitoring guidelines, executive function strategies, and follow-up guidance for your local provider.
Can I get the comprehensive written report for accommodations?
Yes. While your included care plan is sufficient for clinical management and local prescriber handoffs, an optional Comprehensive Diagnostic Report is available for $450. This document provides formal documentation tailored for workplace accommodations under the ADA, university disability services, or high-stakes testing accommodations (such as the LSAT, MCAT, or GRE).
What happens after my evaluation?
After Visit 3, you bring your care plan to your local Florida provider to begin or adjust your treatment. If your needs change or your care plan requires updating in the future, you can schedule a virtual follow-up appointment ($175) with Neurokin at any time to revise your plan before bringing it back to your prescriber.
