Why New Jersey adults book an ADHD evaluation
Most of our patients have spent years working around problems they couldn't name.
Deadlines keep slipping, even on work you care about.
You were told it's anxiety, but treatment never quite helped.
Your child was diagnosed, and their story sounds like yours.
A new job or a new baby made your old systems fall apart.
Your video-only ADHD service can't see you in person, as New Jersey now requires.
You need documentation for accommodations at work or school.
Women and adults who did well in school are often missed. We know what to look for.
ADHD medication in New Jersey
Treatment that fits your life, and the law
If ADHD is confirmed and medicine makes sense for you, we can prescribe in New Jersey. Under a 2026 state law, if you start a stimulant after a video visit, you need an in-person visit within 30 days, a check-in at least every 3 months, and an in-person visit every year. We plan those visits with you.
What you won't get here
- A 15-minute diagnosis
- A prescription without a real evaluation
- A new clinician every visit
- Pressure to start medicine
- Guesswork about New Jersey's rules
What you will get
- Three visits before any diagnosis
- Medicine only if it fits your goals and health
- Non-stimulant options when stimulants aren't right
- Follow-ups that meet New Jersey law, in Westfield or by video
- One care team that knows your history
