Why a New Jersey office matters for ADHD care
A 2026 New Jersey law lets adults start stimulant medicine after a video visit. But you then need an in-person visit within 30 days, a check-in at least every 3 months, and an in-person visit every year. Many video-only services can't offer that.

Founded by a clinician who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult
Karina Campos, APN-BC, founded Neurokin in 2023. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of experience.
Karina was diagnosed with ADHD in her late 30s. She knows what it's like to go years without answers. She built Neurokin to give adults the thoughtful, respectful care she wished she'd had. Everything we do follows that standard.

Migraine and headache care
We also treat chronic migraines and other headache problems at our Westfield, NJ office. If you aren't getting Botox, you can meet with us by video.
Migraine evaluation & treatment
For chronic migraines, cluster headaches, and headaches that are hard to treat. Karina has added training in headache medicine.
Botox for chronic migraine
Botox is FDA-approved to help prevent chronic migraine. We give treatments at our Westfield, NJ office for patients who qualify.

Do you take New Jersey insurance plans?
We don’t bill insurance, including Horizon, Aetna, and other New Jersey plans. After each visit, we give you a superbill to send to your insurer. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you may get some money back. HSA and FSA cards work too.
Can I do my evaluation by video in New Jersey?
Yes. You can meet by video from anywhere in New Jersey. If you start a stimulant medicine after a video visit, state law requires an in-person visit within 30 days and once a year after that. You can do those at our Westfield office.
Can a nurse practitioner diagnose and treat ADHD in New Jersey?
Yes. In New Jersey, advanced practice nurses (APNs) can diagnose ADHD and autism. With a DEA registration, they can also prescribe ADHD medicine.

Many of our patients come from Westfield, Cranford, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, Summit, Springfield, Clark, and across Union County. We see adults from anywhere in New Jersey by video.
Do you see college students?
Yes, if you are 18 or older. We can provide documentation for your school’s disability services office.
Do you treat children or teens?
No. We only see adults 18 and older.
I was already diagnosed. Can you take over my care?
Often, yes. Bring your past records, and we will review them with you. Then we will talk about the right next step.
Do you treat migraines in New Jersey?
Yes. We offer migraine care, including Botox for chronic migraine, at our Westfield office.
