Why New Jersey adults ask about AuDHD

AuDHD adults often get one answer years before the other.

You were diagnosed with ADHD, but treatment didn't explain everything.

You need routine, but can't seem to keep one.

Your focus is all or nothing, with little in between.

Social time drains you, and you lose track of conversations.

Sensory overload makes busy days even harder.

Your child was diagnosed with autism or ADHD, and you see yourself.

Women and adults who mask well are often missed. We know what to look for.

AuDHD care in New Jersey

One team for both parts of how your brain works

When ADHD and autism happen together, a plan built for only one can fall apart. In New Jersey, we can evaluate both, prescribe if needed, and adjust your plan over time.

Care split in two

  • An ADHD clinic and a separate autism evaluation
  • Two clinicians who never compare notes
  • Medicine without the autism context
  • Routines that don't fit your needs
  • Starting over each time

Questions

AuDHD in New Jersey: your questions

Don't see your question? Call (908) 215-2331 or send us your question.

  • What is AuDHD?

AuDHD is a word many people use when they are both autistic and have ADHD. It is not a separate diagnosis. It means you meet the criteria for both.

  • Can you evaluate ADHD and autism at the same time?

Yes. Our AuDHD evaluation looks at both in one process, with one report and one care plan.

  • I already have an ADHD diagnosis. Can you check for autism?

Yes. Bring your records. We can focus the evaluation on autism, and look at how both fit together.

  • Can you prescribe ADHD medicine in New Jersey?

Yes, when it is right for you. If you start a stimulant after a video visit, New Jersey law requires an in-person visit within 30 days and once a year after that. You can do those at our Westfield office.

  • Can I do my evaluation by video?

Yes, from anywhere in New Jersey. You can also do any visit at our Westfield office.

  • Can you help with sensory needs during my visit?

Yes. Tell us what helps, like breaks or a video visit instead. We will do our best to make your visit comfortable.

  • Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly with us.

  • Can you provide documentation for work or school?

Yes. After your evaluation, you get a written report. Ask us what your employer or school needs, and we will help.

  • Do you take insurance?

No, we don’t bill insurance. After each visit, we give you a superbill to send to your insurer. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you may get some money back. HSA and FSA cards work too.

  • How much does an AuDHD evaluation cost?

You pay one visit at a time, on the day of each visit. See our pricing page for current prices.
