Our founder
Founded by a clinician who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult
Karina Campos, APN-BC, founded Neurokin in 2023. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of experience.
Karina was diagnosed with ADHD in her late 30s. She knows what it's like to go years without answers. She built Neurokin to give adults the thoughtful, respectful care she wished she'd had. Everything we do follows that standard.

What is AuDHD?
AuDHD is a word many people use when they are both autistic and have ADHD. It is not a separate diagnosis. It means you meet the criteria for both.
Can you evaluate ADHD and autism at the same time?
Yes. Our AuDHD evaluation looks at both in one process, with one report and one care plan.
I already have an ADHD diagnosis. Can you check for autism?
Yes. Bring your records. We can focus the evaluation on autism, and look at how both fit together.
Can you prescribe ADHD medicine in New York?
Yes. We are licensed to prescribe in New York, including ADHD medicine when it is right for you.
Is my first visit by video?
Yes. If you need to be seen in person later, we plan a visit in Midtown Manhattan with you. In-person visits can’t be booked online.
Do I need to live in New York City?
No. We see adults anywhere in New York State by video. You need to be in New York at the time of your visit.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with us.
Can you provide documentation for work or school?
Yes. After your evaluation, you get a written report. Ask us what your employer or school needs, and we will help.
Do you take insurance?
No, we don’t bill insurance. After each visit, we give you a superbill to send to your insurer. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you may get some money back. HSA and FSA cards work too.
