Our founder
Founded by a clinician who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult
Karina Campos, APN-BC, founded Neurokin in 2023. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of experience.
Karina was diagnosed with ADHD in her late 30s. She knows what it's like to go years without answers. She built Neurokin to give adults the thoughtful, respectful care she wished she'd had. Everything we do follows that standard.

Is my first visit by video?
Yes. Your first visit is by video. If you would like to meet in person later, we can plan a visit in Midtown Manhattan with you.
Do I need to live in New York City?
No. We see adults anywhere in New York State by video. You need to be in New York at the time of your visit.
Can you help with sensory needs during my visit?
Yes. Tell us what helps, like breaks or a slower pace. We will do our best to make your visit comfortable.
Can you provide documentation for work or school?
Yes. After your evaluation, you get a written report. Ask us what your employer or school needs, and we will help.
What if I’m not autistic?
That is still a useful answer. We will explain what we found and what may help.
Can I be evaluated for ADHD at the same time?
Yes. Our AuDHD evaluation looks at ADHD and autism in one process, with one care plan.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly with us.
Do you take insurance?
No, we don’t bill insurance. After each visit, we give you a superbill to send to your insurer. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you may get some money back. HSA and FSA cards work too.
